Legends Top Toronto In First Can-Am Clash

IBA history was made on Friday night as Toronto 3D became the first Canadian-based team to play a league game. 3D received a rude welcome by the Schenectady Legends (5-0), who won their fifth-straight game, 141-108.

Six different Legends scored in double-figures led by IBA Week 10 Player of the Week EJ Gallup with 30 points. Newly signed center Brad Sheehan scored 28 points while Clayton Longmire (22 points) and Lloyd ‘Pooh’ Johnson (20 points) were big contributors to the offense.

Toronto 3D were led in scoring by veteran guard Shamar Coombs, who led all scorers with 35 points. Tshing Kasamba poured in 34 points for 3D, who will rematch the Legends tonight at Canajoharie High School. Game time is scheduled for 7 PM (ET).
