Cobras, Xperience, Soul No Longer Part Of IBA

Four teams who were to compete in the IBA as “branding teams” are no longer part of the IBA. CyFair CobrasHouston Xperience and Louisiana Soul (operated by Kevin Williams) and Gwinnett Majic were all scheduled to face on another, but the teams have had no contact with league officials since early Fall.

Gwinnett were looking forward to a return to the court after a two-year hiatus. The Majic were three-time champions of the now defunct World Basketball Association (WBA). In four WBA seasons the Majic played in four championship games, winning the title in 2009-2011.

The IBA wish the Gwinnett Majic franchise good luck in their future.
