Five games into the IBA season St. Louis Trotters (5-0) remain undefeated after escaping with a 91-87 home win against the tough-luck International Racers (1-4). It was the third four-point margin of victory this campaign for St. Louis, who defeated Kankakee County 141-137 in their previous game.
Despite winning just one of their first five games the International Racers have been in each contest. On Sunday they hosted the expansion team from Kansas City earning a 116-103 win. With a week off coming up, the Racers (2-4) will have some momentum to build on for their next game.
In other IBA action, the Kenosha Ballers (4-1) scored another victory at home, this time against the Lansing Capitals 138-127.
Just one game on tap for Week 7: Lansing (0-3) will travel to Kankakee to face the Soldiers (2-3) on Sunday.
